That Handshake!
There is a good video you should watch on this topic. It sounds too basic – but, all too many people don’t understand the impression they make with their handshake. A good, firm handshake makes a good impression. A weak handshake starts things off the wrong way.
Key points to remember:
- Make eye contact with the interviewer when you meet him or her – don’t STARE – but, don’t look away when the interviewer looks at you.
- You need a FIRM handshake. It doesn’t have to be a vice grip. But, it should definitely NOT be a DEAD FISH handshake!
